Glenglassaugh Takes Gold In The Scottish Field Whisky Challenge 2016

We are absolutely thrilled  that this year’s Scottish Field Whisky Challenge saw Glenglassaugh 30 Year Old winning a Gold award in its category for the second time this year.

The Glenglassaugh 30 Year Old was the Gold category winner among whiskies priced over £80, with the most expensive in the category retailing at £2750. Tasting notes from the judges included “toffee, cognac and apple on the nose” and “a custard tart with lots of nutmeg on.”

It is the second time this year that our Highland malt Glenglassaugh 30 Year Old has been acknowledged with a top award, after winning Gold in its tasting category (Scotch Whisky – Single Malt – Highland – 30YO) in the International Wine & Spirits Competition for the third year running.
