Since that first mash the company has continued to grow, winning awards and gaining new friends and advocates. Our whiskies can now be found worldwide in specialist retailers.
In 2009 three aged whiskies were released; a 21 Years Old, an ‘Aged over 30 Years’ and an ‘Aged over 40 Years’, as well as two spirit products; ‘The Spirit that dare not speak its name’ and ‘The Spirit Drink that blushes to speak its name’. The spirit drinks were followed in 2010 by ‘Fledgling XB’ and ‘Peated’ and the 21 Years Old was succeeded by the 26 Years Old.
Glenglassaugh Revival, the first whisky from the re-born distillery, was launched in 2012. Later that year, Glenglassaugh Evolution, matured in ex-Tennessee casks, followed this popular release.
In 2013 the BenRiach Distillery Company took over Glenglassaugh distillery with the intention to bring the iconic distillery fully back to life. The first release under new ownership was the 30 Years Old followed by the 40 Years Old.
In 2016 Brown-Forman acquired the Glenglassaugh Distillery alongside The GlenDronach and BenRiach distilleries. Brown-Forman have continued on the strong legacy within Glenglassaugh Distillery for creating ranges of award-winning exceptionally-crafted peated and unpeated single malt Scotch whiskies.
