All of our whiskies are bottled on site at Glenglassaugh distillery. We do not add colouring or use chill-filtering as we believe that both of these practices can have a detrimental effect on the flavour. Our single cask bottlings are filled at cask strength.

The 26 Year Old

Glenglassaugh 26 year old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of the finest casks which were filled in 1983 from the distillery. It is bottled at 46% alcohol by volume and the result is a complex yet light whisky which still retains much of the youthful elements and light fruits of the original spirit. It comes in a distinctive “tear shaped” bottle which is engraved with our logo and is packaged in a carton. It retails in the UK at £150, the price reflecting the fact that this is a one-off release and once the 8,700 bottles are sold (globally) there can be no more for at least 26 years.

Aged Over 30 Years Rare Cask Series

A series of single cask bottlings, all of which have been aged for over 30 years which are carefully selected to ensure their aroma and taste is representative of the Glenglassaugh standard. The current release has been aged for 36 years, has an alcohol strength of 43.0% and is a complex rich highland malt with an aroma of green apples, mixed fruit and perhaps a hint of mango. This whisky comes in a cut crystal decanter, with the logo engraved on the decanter and it is packaged in a satin lined rosewood box which has also been engraved with our logo. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with its own certificate of authentication personally signed by the managing director. 

 Aged Over 40 Years Rare Cask Series

A series of single cask bottlings, all of which have been aged for over 40 years which are carefully selected to ensure their aroma and taste is representative of the Glenglassaugh standard.  The current release has been aged for 41 years, originally being filled in 1967. The result is a complex whisky with sherry overtones and is reminiscent of the finest rich fruit cake. It comes in a cut crystal decanter, again with the logo engraved on the decanter and if desired by the consumer can be engraved with their name at no extra charge. It is packaged in a satin lined rosewood box  with a pair of cut crystal glasses which can again be engraved with a set of initials at no extra charge. The box is engraved with our logo. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with its own certificate of authentication personally signed by the managing director. 


Rare Cask Series Triple Pack

Award winning Single Malt Scotch Whiskies which are packaged as a tri-pack of 200ml bottles of selected aged whiskies consisting of a 26 year old which has an abv of 46.0%, a 37 year old with an abv of 54.8% and a 43 year old with an abv of 48.7%. The pack comes in a branded leather case and a sealed inlay card with tasting notes on each of the three products.
